We came here for a birthday dinner, and I can honestly say it was one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. Our server, Yamen, was outstanding—attentive without being intrusive, always making sure our water glasses were full, our table was tidy, and checking in at just the right moments. The rest of the staff were equally impressive, swiftly clearing plates and maintaining a seamless, high standard of service throughout the evening. And the food—absolutely phenomenal. I’ve never been a fan of gnocchi, but the Gnocchi alla Papera (handmade gnocchi with slow-cooked shredded duck in a rich San Marzano tomato sauce) completely changed my mind. They were so light and tender, like biting into soft pillows—truly unforgettable. The Suppli Zucca were another standout. Rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced. It’s places like this that set a new standard of quality—after experiencing it, anything else you try elsewhere just never quite lives up to how it should taste. We had the best time and will absolutely be back!

It was bank holiday Sunday and my family went for lunch. It was just us for best part of 2 hours and we loved the food, chilled pace since we were the only customers. We weren’t in a rush, they didn’t feel rushed considering we had starters, mains and dessert. Technically, they were on time. It was fine dining with customer service at its best. It felt like we had our own food experience. Right amount of fresh, wholesome delicious Italian food on our doorstep. I would go back in the evening to enjoy a lively atmosphere with great food.

Lovely family run restaurant with so many interesting choices of food. The food was delicious but what really made our trip was the staff and the vibe. They were super accommodating, friendly & energetic and we felt so comfortable and cosy there. Would definitely recommend if you love classic Italian food but appreciate experimentation. Lovely limoncello on the house to finish our trip! Will 1000% come again

Authentic italian restaurant! We came here a couple of days ago as a family and as soon as we arrived we loved it! The staff are very friendly and kind, even though the resturaunt was busy - it was still a nice atmosphere that you can enjoy your food in. I ordered the duck gnocchi and was blown away!! The flavour was amazing however a little salt was needed. The tiramisu was also perfect! Prices are reasonable and would definitely come again!

It was my first time at Damo and we love it. The service was excellent, the food was very good especially the prawn pasta and the zucchini tortellini. The food was halal too which made things easier for us. The staff was very prompt and welcoming. I will highly recommend this to anyone

We visited Damo for a friend birthday party and we were impressed by the quality of the food and the place itself. As an Italian myself, I’m extremily picky when it comes to Italian food and sometimes struggle to find authentic Italian cousine, but Damo met my expectations 100%, the food was tasty, nicely presented and the lasagna was one of the best I ever had. The restaurant staff is very welcoming and the atmosphere is chilled and relaxed. I would def recommend visiting Damo for any sort of occasion and you won’t be disappointed!

Authentic Mama's pasta elevated by the 3 brothers at Damo's. Awesome food, but the bar is raised with the service and attention to detail. Always have a great evening here, whether its a family night or for business. The highlights have to be the beef tartare, signature lasagna and the choc fondant.... hmmm... back soon chaps! (p.s. and its halal too)
